Vision. It is the thing that sets apart a God-idea from a good idea.

Whenever God has to work with two or more people on something, His beginning point is a vision – to get them to see, individually and collectively, the same thing that He sees. It follows that if there is a single assignment that God has for a leader, it is to raise a vision.

It is no wonder that we have these words from the greatest leader ever, Jesus Christ: “…the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does” (John 5:19-20, NKJV)

At Covenant Words, leaders of like-vision are one of the things we are continuously looking out for in prayer and practice. And when we find one, we know it. We consider those we find a God-send for us to mutually speed-up and sharpen each other in the mission field.
